Daily Meetings

OA members come together at meetings to share their personal experience, strength and hope in recovering from compulsive overeating, anorexia and bulimia. Everyone who wants to stop eating compulsively is welcome at OA meetings. Financial contributions are voluntary.

- Deadline to give Carol feedback is May 1

  • Motions: Short form, with SFIG recommendations

  • Motions: Long form, with rational and background

  • The three (3) motions that inspired lively discussion:

    B - Update Unity with Diversity Policy, add a sentence that says: “In particular, this means we do not try to convince any member or visitor to adopt a belief in God.”

    5 - Change the Steps & Traditions to make them gender-neutral replacing the word “him” with “God”.

    4 – Amend what is required to change the steps or traditions.
